Message from the Ministry of Education: Emergency Childcare Benefits
As a support to families amid Covid-19 situation, students who are Koreans with Korean Resident Number are eligible for child support benefits.
1. Age group
(1) Children who were born on or after January 1, 2008 and on or before
December 31, 2013 are entitled to receive 200,000 won.

2. Application period: October 5, 2020 ~ October 16, 2020
3. How to claim
(1) Prepare supporting documents and application
A. application: available at MOE website from October 5, 2020
B. Parent’s ID (resident card or driver’s license)
C. Family registry (showing child and your relationship)
D. Copy of resident registration
E. Copy of bank account
(2) Submit all the documents in person to the branch(Seoul/Gyeonggi) which has your address under its jurisdiction.

코로나 장기화로 인한 아동 돌봄에 따른 경제적 부담 경감 및 경제 활성화 지원을 위한 초등(중등)연령 아동특별돌봄 지원금 학교 밖 아동 지원 신청 방법을 아래와 같이 안내 드립니다. 자녀가 대한민국 국적이며 [주민등록법]에 따른 주민등록상의 생년월이 아래에 해당되는 경우, 기간동안 신청이 가능합니다. 아동의 주소지 기준 교육지원청을 방문하여 서류 제출하여야 하며, 주소지 기준이 아닌 교육지원청에서는 접수 불가함을 양지하시기 바랍니다.

2. 신청기간: 2020년 10월 5일(월)~10월 16일 (금)
3. 신청방법:
(1) 제출서류를 준비하여 신청
A. 신청서: 교육청 홈페이지에서 다운로드 가능
B. 보호자 신분증: 주민등록증, 운전면허증
C. 가족관계증명서
D. 주민등록 등본(동거인 포함 표시)
E. 아동 혹은 보호자 명의 통장
(2) 대상 아동의 보호자 또는 대리인이 아동의 주소지 기준 교육지원청(서울/경기)에 방문하여 서류 제출
