Curriculum Overview
The elementary school experience can positively impact each child as they continue their educational journey. After successful completion of elementary school, students will enter middle school with deep thinking and collaboration skills, enabling them to engage effectively in society. In our learning community, we support our students in becoming independent, life-long learners, who can meet the challenges of a complex, ever-changing world.
At KIS Seoul Campus, the development of the ‘whole child’ through our KIS Core Values is the ultimate goal of our program.
Early Years
At Seoul Campus, our youngest learners enjoy a play-based, Reggio-inspired curriculum. Children learn to become more independent, to collaborate with others, and to engage their curiosity about the surrounding world. Early literacy and numeracy skills are embedded in discovery and play experiences. Early Years children also benefit from specialist teachers in the following subject areas: Korean, Music, PE, Library, STEM, Art and Design.
