Dear KIS Community,

The Gyeonggido Office of Education and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education have mandated that anyone who has traveled to one of over 50 countries identified by the World Health Organization(WHO) as having local transmission of the COVID-19 virus will not be permitted to return to school campuses until fourteen days after returning to the Republic of Korea. Here is a link to the most recent situation reports from the WHO. Please be sure you are regularly reviewing current updates.

Students, faculty, staff, and parents should be in the Republic of Korea from March 16, so you are eligible to return to campus when school reopens on Monday, March 30.

We will continue to closely monitor this situation as it evolves to meet our goals of safeguarding our community and enabling us to return to campus together.

Sincerely,

Michelle QuirinSchool Director.
